UNIVERSITY RELATIONS: TECHNICAL DIRCTOR ON CAMPUS DEMO REEL REVIEWS

TECHNICAL DIRECTOR OVERVIEW:
A Technical Director internship or residency consists of real-world work experience assisting in the production of a feature film. Our interns and residents work alongside Technical Directors and contribute as full members of the technical team. We are looking for students who possess many of the skills of our Technical Directors and are interested in expanding their knowledge of the field.
PIXAR UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
The Pixar Undergraduate Program (PUP) is a classroom-based course taught by a variety of experienced Technical Directors at Pixar. The classroom curriculum will focus on several technical aspects of filmmaking, such as: modeling, shading, rigging, lighting, simulation, and visual effects. It’s ideal for a student at the beginning of their undergraduate academic career and interested in pursuing a career as a Technical Director.

• Attach a single .PDF file containing your cover letter and your resume
• A link to your online demo reel -- if you have a password, be sure to include that as well
• Under “Education”, please include the name of the college you are attending and the year you are graduating
• By submitting your information it does not guarantee your demo reel will be reviewed during an on campus visit
