Video Producer/Humankind
We’re looking for a natural-born video storyteller to join Humankind’s team to tell stories about acts of kindness, out of the ordinary triumphs and special relationships. If you can turn on feels at the drop of a hat, we need you!
We need someone with the patience and curiosity to spend hours tracking down stories, facts, photos and videos to create an amazing multimedia story about incredible people. The Humankind Digital Video Producer will work alongside Humankind’s production staff to develop story ideas, build out an editorial calendar, produce multiple videos per day, and get them in front of as many people as possible on social media platforms.
The ideal candidate should be excited at the thought of scouring the interwebs day and night for stories that remind us that the world is still a good place. We’re looking for someone with the unique ability of not only finding, writing and producing their own videos, but writing their own articles too. This producer will own their content from start to finish, including optimization on multiple platforms. The ideal Humankind Digital Video Producer candidate is so excited about their content, that they wake up and immediately check stats, feedback, likes and views. The ideal candidate is a team player with excellent communication skills, is quick to respond and receptive to feedback.
