OPPORTUNITY:
The Sales Operations & Strategy Manager will have the opportunity to think strategically and develop key processes, procedures and communications that facilitate operational planning and execution. This position requires extensive cross-group coordination at all levels, excellent communication skills, compelling presentations and comprehensive business review materials that span all the various functions. The position will participate in overall strategy discussions and facilitate business execution.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Carry out research, strategic analysis, and modeling to produce reports and other presentations that support company strategic initiatives
• Assist in driving analytics to understand industry and competitive dynamics, evaluate the overall performance of the company, or the impact of specific initiatives. Help provide business intelligence to drive executive decisions
• Lead cross-functional organizational planning activities to move forward the vision, strategic and operational plans. Provide oversight and guidance to projects critical to the division, including maintaining relationships with key partners
• Oversee and manage a wide variety of highly prioritized projects, as well as complete ad-hoc projects and requests
• Participate in strategic business meetings and conference calls
• Create executive communications and presentations for a number of internal and external forums
• Provide organizational support and ensure action items, deadlines, and deliverables are completed
• Innovative, analytical thinker with demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis, prepare and implement action plans, and lead improvement initiatives
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in an analyst-type position in a top-tier consulting firm, investment bank, or similar, hardworking, well rounded, eager to learn from those around them, and enjoys problem solving.
To meet the priorities of the position, candidates must possess the following core competencies, qualities and experience to be considered:
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Outstanding analytic and strategic problem solving skills; ability to generate business insights using syndicated data
• Strong project management experience
• Superior organizational and project/time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated business acumen; ability to understand key financial, and operational drivers affecting business
• Ability to facilitate alignment of cross-functional objectives.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style
• Demonstrated ability to problem solve and resolve conflict
• Excel and Powerpoint proficiency
• Media experience is preferred but not mandatory
