Reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital Brand Marketing, the Digital Brand Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the execution of campaign digital marketing, along with .ca related updates. The candidate requires an understanding of best practices in the digital space, customer acquisition marketing, and strong project management experience. This position requires an individual that takes initiative, embraces a fast paced evolving atmosphere and endeavors to deliver with speed and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and help facilitate daily maintenance activities for .ca – ensure accurate and efficient, price changes, rate plan changes, product launches and service launches
• Manage execution of integrated campaign elements and positioning of unique offers on.ca
• Manage projects that improve the overall experience of the site to ensure they continually evolve and develop with the needs of the business.
• Build and maintain effective communication and relationships with multiple stakeholders including Hardware, Campaign, Pricing and Legal teams.
• Oversee all messaging published to .ca and ensure appropriate executive review and approvals have been obtained.
• Liaise and interact with a dedicated operational team for ongoing updates and optimization of the site as well as obtain additional digital insights and support.
• Coordinate with other Marketing Communications disciplines to ensure communication elements are integrated.
• Coordinate creative feedback and approvals from various stakeholders.
• Edit content to ensure clarity of messaging.
• Review web analytics reports monthly and leverage analytics to drive customer experience improvements.
• Support execution of advertising/merchandising elements when needed.
Critical Competencies:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications (digital expertise) or similar discipline
• 2+ years of experience in a digital marketing communications or web role
• Previous experience in acquisition marketing and/or SEO/SEM
• Have a strong understanding of marketing communications principles
• Have strong communications skills - excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Demonstrated project management skills and ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities from beginning to end
• Experience working with creative agencies.
• Strong knowledge of usability best practices and information architecture
• Self-motivated and thrive in a fast paced environment
• Highly organized and extremely detail oriented
• Possess knowledge of web analytics and able to develop and maintain streamlined processes
• Can work well independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel and Power Point
Preferred Competencies:
• Agency and/or telecommunications experience in digital space
• Experience in advertising/merchandising is a plus
Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)
