Account Director, The New Yorker
The Account Director is the first line of contact between our clients and The New Yorker. You will be responsible for driving advertising and sponsorship revenue with clients as well as ideating, selling, negotiating, and delivering fully integrated programs that can live cross-platform: print, digital, and live experiences.
What you will do:
You will have the opportunity to identify, develop, and maintain relationships with key advertising decision-makers at agency and clients throughout your territory. You will identify new programs to engage existing clients as well as drive new business.
Responsibilities include:
• Developing and managing short- and long-term account plans for key clients
• Collaborating with Marketing team to develop and sell-through innovative advertising programs
• Penetrating existing accounts via sell-through of Digital, Video, Branded Content, and Experiential Ad Products
• Developing new business on a specified account development list
• Providing accurate and timely business reporting including revenue estimates, annual projections, and share of market analysis
Essential Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience of consultative integrated (multichannel) sales experience with proven ability to navigate relationships with both the client and the agency
• Ability to manage and grow and existing base of business while continuing to drive new business
• Strong presentation skills
• Aptitude for SalesForce
