The WEA Finance department provides financial analysis and operational support for departments within WEA as well as the digital and artist services business throughout Warner Music Group. Our finance team has
Why this could be your next big break:
• The Finance Coordinator is responsible for processing high volume, time sensitive payments and billings for Warner Music Group’s artists, vendors, and customers.
• Unique opportunity to understand artist touring and ticketing businesses and get to know all of the great people at WEA that run the machine in the background.
Here you’ll get to:
• You will run ticketing reports, reconcile data and prepare concert promoter settlements; research and correct discrepancies.
• You will aggregate and review artist merchandise costs and generate invoices for collection.
• You will manage all vendor set up and maintenance for the department; submit New Vendor forms to A/P for processing; follow up/ resolve and address any issues that might arise.
• You will coordinate purchase order activities; traffic invoices and prepare department American Express charges; ensure proper approval and coding as well as prompt submission to A/P for processing; work with fulfillment team to ensure proper distribution of the checks; respond to all vendor inquiries.
• You will assist with the processing of digital and co-op advertising requests.
• You will ensure all administration is in accordance with company’s financial controls and company policies.
• You will help with ad hoc projects as needed.
Rockstar candidates will be able to:
• You have strong follow-up and customer service skills
• You are organized & proactive; able to operate in a deadline-driven capacity
• You are highly proficient in MS Excel, Outlook, and Word
It would be music to our ears if you also had:
• 2+ years of Accounts Payable or similar experience
• Ariba, SAP and Concur experience a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Four year college degree preferred with some courses in accounting
