Spectrum Enterprise currently seeks a Marketing Manager, Spectrum Enterprise for the Stamford, CT/NYC location. Please find a brief description below of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Marketing Manager, Spectrum Enterprise will be responsible for developing and implementing events, sponsorship and entertainment programs and initiatives across the national Spectrum Enterprise footprint. This position will focus on developing internal & external entertainment strategies that support the sales organization’s opportunity to generate & close new revenue, grow & retain existing revenue & to retain & grow the current customer base.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Creates and executes the national event strategy, including the development and management of market-specific events and other special projects
• Collaborates with the sales organization to ensure events are aligned with the overall sales strategy for the national and local markets
• Executes comprehensive events strategy, leading to consistent visibility in major markets, and perceived visibility in all markets
• Executes all events including ideation, site inspections, agency management and all logistical details
• Manages the asset inventory for all sporting & general venue across the nation including sponsorships and contract negotiations
• Facilitate the development of communications internally to ensure events are maximized from an attendance and revenue perspective
JOB QUALIFICATIONS/SKILL SET:
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience developing and executing events within a B2B environment
• Proven track record driving revenue growth through innovative marketing and event programs.
• General knowledge of commercial voice, internet, cloud and cable TV services desired.
• Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills.
• Must be client focused and customer experience oriented to internal & external clients.
• Must be service-oriented and comfortable managing senior level executives from a written and verbal communication perspective
• Collaborative, team-based posture with the necessary “people” competencies to communicate a passion for winning.
• Detailed oriented and the ability to logistically manage events involving large groups of prospects and customers.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
•4-6 years total relevant work experience.
•Bachelor’s degree.
LEGAL/FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Requires adherence to Spectrum Enterprise Standards of Business Conduct. Position must assist in maintaining the confidentiality of customer and business data at all times.
TRAVEL:
May require up to 50% travel.
