The Sales Director - New Business Development exists to bring new business to the sales department. He or she will identify, make contact with and initiate new accounts for the sales department. He or she will seek out opportunities in which our full product line may add value to or in which a specific book can be sold. This person will be responsible for identifying and opening new business opportunities and oversee in the transition to an account manager.

• Identify, contact & open new account/business opportunities
• Present our company in a positive & authoritative manner to a wide spectrum of potential partners in multiple industries.
• Have a thorough understanding of our product & our consumers.
• Communicate both written & verbal strategies and actions being made to achieve prescribed goals.
• Travel. Must be able to travel frequently & at times on short notice.
Qualifications:
Work Experience:At least 6-8 years in B-to-B sales, preferably in a creative content environment. Experience in new business acquisition & development is strongly preferred. Preference will be given to someone with experience in a creative content environment.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
General and/or Industry Knowledge:Knowledge of retail & on-line sales environment, key competitors & trends. An understanding of selling creative content, branding & marketing is preferred.

• Public Speaker/Communicator/Influencer/Persuader: Whether a small or large group, able to speak clearly, confidently and concisely. As the first person many will see from our company, able to communicate our values, vision and products in a positive and persuasive manner. Able to listen well and maturely & positively represent HCCP.
• Presentation Skills:Proficient in both verbal & written presentations. Able to walk through a presentation deck.
• Computing Skills: Proficient in basic business computing including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Relationship Manager/ Corporate Path Finder: Able to develop rapport with others; develop a network of contacts; build and maintain long-term relationships with both internal & external stakeholders.
• Able to work Independently:Self-starter, requires little oversight, highly committed to the task at hand.
• Highly structured & organized:Reliable, does not drop the ball.
• Multi-Tasker: Able to handle multiple projects at one time while also properly prioritizing opportunities & needs.
