Summary of the Role
The inScience Project Coordinator will support in the delivery of revenues for assigned projects through effective internal teamwork: on time and on budget; and to meet client needs.
This is an opportunity for a highly motivated individual to build strong relationships with inScience and other Springer Healthcare staff, supporting vendors and Springer Nature staff, ensuring high product and project satisfaction.
Main Duties
• Provide day-to-day input to account team to assist in delivering business growth within the designated account(s).
• Develop effective working relationships with individual clients.
• Work with lead account personnel to meet / exceed inScience Communications revenue and profitability expectations within the assigned projects.
• Manage all assigned projects to agreed financial ratios and in line with project specifications.
• Develop accurate budget proposals for assigned projects and be accountable for monitoring time and costs throughout project delivery and the reconciliation process.
• Manage professionally any client queries regarding costs for assigned projects with the support of lead account personnel and Operations Manager.
• With direction from lead account personnel, accurately complete sales, revenue forecasts, financial spread sheets (confirmed and unconfirmed) and invoicing by the agreed monthly deadlines for assigned projects.
• Draw up schedules for approval by lead account personnel.
• Undertake and drive the day-to-day project management of all assigned projects.
• Comply with agreed internal processes (SOPs) so the team works in an effective manner including client specific protocols and systems.
• Work closely with the rest of the team to set up new systems/processes, as required, to optimally manage the account(s).
• Ensure, in conjunction with other account personnel, that information about team success and advice on best practice is shared with other inScience Communications teams.
Qualifications
Essential
• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
• Relevant experience in an administrative or project co-ordination role
• Must be native in Japanese and fluent in written and oral English
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
• Able to demonstrate impeccable organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
• Able to demonstrate strong relationship management of both internal and external clients
• Proven ability to work in a team environment or individually
Desired
• Experience working as part of a delivery team in a client-facing role
• Relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a healthcare communications agency
• Knowledge of paper submission
