Overview and Responsibilities
The Transactional Video department is responsible for the Download-To-Own (EST) distribution of Global Entertainment Group content through digital retailers such as iTunes and Amazon Video as well as physical retail releases through DVD/Blu-Ray. The Manager, Partner Marketing & Distribution of Transactional Video will support the department in all sales and marketing efforts to drive revenue growth. This role will build internal and external relationships and programs to maximize sales revenue across 3 lines of business and 7 Viacom channels. Position reports directly to Director, Transactional Video.
Responsibilities
• Manage relationships and act as Account Manager of select external EST partners
• Maintain day-to-day operations with various internal departments including but not limited to Marketing, Social, Content Distribution, and Creative
• Assist Director with strategy and implementation of marketing efforts to support roster of 175+ TV seasons annually across all EST and DVD/Blu-ray releases across 7 channels
• Generate and launch new products (i.e. episode bundles) and promotional programs around key property moments
• Run financial analysis on series sales performance
• Prepare and execute detailed presentations for each monthly partner call articulating Video strategies and initiatives
Basic Qualifications
• 2-4 years of sales/marketing experience in the media/entertainment landscape
• Bachelor’s degree required
Additional Qualifications
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Deep familiarity with the OTT marketplace
• Knowledge of all media platforms – on-air, digital, mobile, off-channel
• Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent oral communication, interpersonal, and visual presentation skills
• Experience gathering & analyzing research and data, utilizing both internal and external industry sources
• Track record of building and maintaining relationships internally and externally
• Ability to collaborate across different departments to execute plans efficiently
