Position Description:
We are looking for a strategic thinker with strong marketing acumen to join the Bell Media B2B Marketing team. In this role, you need to have the ability to develop marketing strategies and lead and implement all elements of the plan with speed and accuracy. You will also have the opportunity to gain exposure to brand development and build awareness that ultimately supports and drives sales.

Job Duties/Accountabilities:
• Marketing and Communications (35%)
◦ Manage key team projects (develop strategic plans, detailed briefs, budgets, project management)
◦ Responsible for the development and implementation of the marketing/promotional strategy, as well as communication plans, tactics and key messages to ensure alignment between sales and marketing objectives.
◦ Identify key sponsorship opportunities of various B2B industry competitions; develop activation ideas and oversee their management;
◦ Identify digital needs (web, social media, email marketing) and oversee the creation, execution and measurement of all initiatives/programs, including the bellmediasales.ca website
• Sales Support (35%)
◦ Participate in the development and maintenance of all sales tools for Bell Media Sales and each of its divisions (sales tools, advertising, promotional items, price cards, brochures, presentation templates) and ensure that they conform to Bell graphic standards.
◦ Support the concept development and execution of agency tours.
◦ Work closely with senior sales leaders in the development of sales materials and events.
• Special Events (20%)
◦ Collaborate on the development and production of customer events.
◦ Manage and participate in all marketing elements required for successful product launches, programming initiatives, customer events and incentive plans;
◦ Work closely with events team to ensure flawless execution of projects.
◦ Participate in the development of any Bell Media Sales events as required.
• Team Leadership (10%)
◦ Lead and develop one direct report.
Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
• An energetic, self-motivated, business minded leader.
• A critical thinker and creative problem solver who sees opportunities where others don’t and finds ways of charting a path forward.
• Possesses minimum of 5 years of experience in media, advertising, and/or communications.
• Experience managing multiple projects concurrently from start to finish (developing the overall strategy & plan, writing creative briefs and overseeing creative development, budget management, workbacks, logistics, posts).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation skills
• A thorough understanding of digital communications, the social media landscape, metrics, and reporting.
• Interest in pop culture, arts, and music
• University education required.
Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:
• Preference will be given to candidates with both PC and MAC knowledge, and proficiency with CMS tools (WordPress), Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote.
Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)
