SUMMARY
Hulu’s Subscriber and Content Optimization team is seeking an Early Engagement Marketing Manager who will be an exceptional addition to our growing team. As an Early Engagement Marketing Manager at Hulu, you will support efforts to strengthen our relationship with the customer at the early stages of their lifecycle – encouraging high-value behaviors, improving trial-to-pay conversion rates, reducing churn, and increasing lifetime value. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, likes to think strategically, is intellectually curious, and thrives in an undefined environment. WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Lead early lifecycle marketing efforts by developing testing plans, evaluating results, and continuously iterating to increase trial-to-pay conversion rate.
• Work with Product Managers to create a cohesive onboarding experience (from sign up to becoming a paying customer).
• Partner with Data teams to identify high-value behaviors and to understand drivers of conversion from free trial to paying customer.
• Partner with the Mid-Lifecycle Marketing team to establish and sustain engagement patterns that extend the customer’s lifetime.
• Collaborate with Product and Data teams on product features, data / tech requirements, and personalization.
• Develop thoughtful and effective customer education initiatives.
• Continuously pursue improvements to onboarding and early lifecycle efforts in order to help new Hulu users get maximum value out of their subscription.
WHAT TO BRING
• 3+ years of marketing experience in a mix of strategy and execution across multiple channels (e.g. display, email, social, etc.)
• Advanced experience in complex database marketing, technical requirements gathering, and driving integration with CRM technologies.
• A strong background in A/B testing to optimize and increase the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
• Impressive attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and ability to operate in a fast paced environment with ambiguity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data, influence others, and build relationships.
• Passion for entertainment and pop culture, with a focus on television content.
NICE-TO-HAVES
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Experience working in the Entertainment or Subscription business space.
