Position Summary:
The Program Manager is responsible for daily contact between Creative Services and one or more internal partners (Programming, Engineering, Product, Brand). The Program Manager interfaces with various departments to move projects through to the design team while communicating specific issues back to stakeholders. This includes meeting with the creative director concerning creative issues and input, the Brand team concerning Brand issues, the director of product development, and the project manager concerning scheduling and timing. In short, this role is the conduit between various interdependent groups.
The Program Manager must have excellent communication skills and be able to present various levels of input to different teams. The Program Manager will be able to answer any question from any stakeholder and be able to report on progress and requirements on a regular basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Partner with the Creative and Product teams to accurately represent requirements on briefs/deliverables.
• Understand fully and be able to communicate the Brand personality and requirements to external partners as needed.
• Point of contact for all internal stakeholders that leverage the Design team, managing deliverables, scope, and expectations while ensuring that program-level issues are resolved.
• Proactively communicate schedule and scope changes and predict and escalate resourcing issues and program issues as appropriate.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all requests, changes, and issues that arise and need resolution to ensure that they are addressed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• 5+ years of work experience in agency in account services role managing client needs and creative deliverables.
• Must have a proven track record of successfully managing both high-profile initiatives as well as smaller more detail-oriented projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Advertising; or equivalent relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing and working with small-to-medium teams of cross-discipline resources across multiple locations.
• Experience with and thorough knowledge of Agile software development methodologies, and how it applies to design process.
Requirements and General Skills:
• Ability to partner with internal marketing teams to create effective communications.
• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills with impeccable responsiveness and follow-through on details.
• Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
• Understanding of user-experience design and process.
• Understanding of software or digital development and processes.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong relationship building skills with the ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Spelling, grammar, proofreading and editing skills.
• Daily interaction with team leads to update report on and discuss projects.
• Responsible for daily account management activities, such as agendas, recaps, reports and coordination of all necessary deliverables.
• Collaborate with Design team and Project Manager.
• Complete individual tasks with minimal supervision.
• Serve as an active member of the team and demonstrate team-player attitude.
• Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
Technical Skills:
• Ability to manage timelines and process.
• Program / Project Management software (MS Project or others as applicable).
• Online documentation and task management tools (such as Jira and Confluence).
• Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
