Video Producer, BrandVoice
Forbes is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Video Producer to head up BrandVoice Video. BrandVoice is an innovative native advertising platform allowing brands to amplify their message to the valuable Forbes audience. As video continues to evolve into one of the most important storytelling mediums, Forbes BrandVoice will remain on the cutting edge. The position will report to the head of BrandVoice and work in close collaboration with the video studio.
The right candidate possesses an innate leadership quality, passion for creating best-in-class digital video, a deep comprehension of the digital video and branded content landscape, and an indefatigable drive to provide both brands and audiences with the most engaging possible experience. They have an impressive track record of concepting, pitching, developing and executing extremely high quality branded and/or editorial video in the publishing and/or advertising space. Perhaps most importantly, they are energized by the collaborative process and willing to do whatever it takes to deliver the best possible product.
Qualifications:
• BA/BS level degree
• A bit of dirt under the fingernails and a few war stories from a scrappy production past
• A history of leading teams to create high quality video
• A deep freelancer network of DP’s, editors, producers, writers, animators and below-the-line crew in many cities in the U.S. and globally
• The ability to translate brand goals into highly compelling video content
• Experience working with advertisers across a range of industries
• A visionary strategic business mind always striving to maximize revenue and positioning
• Extremely organized to the point of multiple simultaneous projects being second nature
• Unflappable under pressure with tight deadlines
• Ambitious and anxious to constantly evolve with the media zeitgeist
• Well versed in social media on all relevant platforms
• The ability to create high production value even with small budgets
• A highly collaborative work ethic and the ability to compromise without compromising quality
