Bloomberg is seeking an experienced editor to manage content promotion, strategy, and audience engagement across Twitter.
Key responsibilities include identifying, analyzing and communicating audience trends and story recommendations for producers, real-time coverage of live programming content and breaking news, and frequent social engagement with our audience on Twitter. You will work with the live content producer and video producers to make sure appropriate content are being promoted on Twitter. This position requires strong communication skills, as you will engage with viewers daily on Bloomberg's new 24/7 streaming product on Twitter. This position requires flexible hours to accommodate production schedules, including weekends.
Qualifications:
• 5-7+ years of experience as an editor or social media editor, preferably in a digital editorial environment
• Strong editorial judgment
• Demonstrated track record of driving social and audience development through social networks
