JOB SUMMARY
The Sr. Director, Field Marketing, Spectrum Enterpise will be responsible for creating, developing and implementing the field marketing strategy, so as to fully support sales channels across the companywide footprint. The Sr. Director will oversee the local/regional Field Marketing team, geographically dispersed across the U.S., focusing efforts to exceed established goals through the development & execution of events, sponsorships, tradeshows and other strategic initiatives.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops and implements B2B field marketing programs for the various sales channels.
Provide strategic plans & guidance in support of the sales team’s efforts to develop and execute local/regional marketing events sponsorships & tradeshow initiatives and programs driving leads and generating revenue, so as to maximize sales productivity and profitability.
Responsible for management of the Senior Field Marketing Managers (SFMM) who are responsible for all Field Marketing initiatives for various sales channels, including but not limited to serving as brand ambassador, promoting marketing strategies and partnering with sales leaderships to evaluate local marketing opportunities.
Partner collaboratively with business units across the enterprise to ensure maximum alignment with key priorities and increasing the effective use of the department’s resources.
Assure Field Marketing’s input, support and communication of effective sales programs, campaigns, product launches, and incentives for sales channels.
Strategically assess, negotiate and execute event/sponsorships for organization.
Support and evaluate event approval and tracking process.
Develop and manage commercial marketing expense budget, assuring control of expenses.
Responsible for measuring business unit effectiveness with appropriate metrics and provide continuous improvements by shifting priorities as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Progressive experience in building and implementing field marketing tactics in the telecommunications or business services industry (B2B).
Must have strong leadership skills and have demonstrated the ability to create organizations, build teams, and motivate an organization to achieve sustained superior performance through effective problem solving, team building, and coaching.
Proven track record driving revenue growth through innovative field marketing and channel programs.
General knowledge of B2B voice, fiber, cloud and cable tv services desired
Customer-focused with a proven track record of success in achieving/exceeding growth and profitability goals
A dynamic leader that can switch from very focused, tactical project management to future-thinking strategic decisions with ease
Strong financial/analytical skills required as well as development of business plans
Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills
Collaborative, team-based posture with the necessary “people” and performance management competencies to foster teamwork and communicate a passion for winning
Skill in budget preparation and fiscal management
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field. Master Degree preferred.
