The Food Innovation Group: Brand Marketing Manager
Job Description
Condé Nast is forging the way in digital, print, social media, video, and branded content with Bon Appétit and Epicurious at the helm as The Food Innovation Group. Bon Appétit and Epicurious are two highly awarded brands covering food through the lens of cooking, travel, technology, and more.
The Bon Appétit & Epicurious Brand Marketing team is responsible for creating and executing compelling marketing programs in conjunction with the Bon Appétit & Epicurious sales, marketing, insights, creative services, events, and PR teams.
Responsibilities include:
• Writes custom and concise proposals and presentations
• Develops advertiser-specific marketing programs that include elements such as: custom creative, digital & social units, events, video, recipe development, and more (pre-sale)
• Plans, coordinates, and executes sold programs across Bon Appétit and Epicurious that include content creation, event activations, influencer programs, and many more program extensions (post-sale)
• Attends sales calls to articulate and sell-through marketing ideas
• Project lead for select third-party partnerships
• Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of existing digital product offerings as well as a desire to seek out new product offerings
• Manages sponsor elements of signature events
• Cultivates relationships with key clients year-round
Requirements:
• Candidate should have 2-4 years in marketing/publishing/media or other highly relevant field
• Should be a team player with strong writing and presentation skills, creative ideas, and project management experience
• Close attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment
• Ability to work independently and within a team setting
• Experience with InDesign and Keynote preferred, but not required
• IAB certification a plus
• Love of food a must
