Responsible for the overall vision and direction of the Technical Operations and Workforce Operations functions within a region of 1.9 million customers with approximately 5400 employees. Creates business standards, goals, strategies, and objectives that are competitive with industry standards. Creates and manages to annual and quarterly budgets. Develops a highly engaged staff who execute with excellence. Develops strategic partnerships and relationships within the sales and service groups to drive the strategic execution of new product offerings.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Operates as a leader and collaborator/stakeholder with 3 key functions for the region:
• Technical Operations
• Plant Maintenance
• Workforce Operations
• In concert with the Region Finance Team, creates the quarterly and annual budget and manages all expenditures and capital projects associated with the Tech Operations department.
• Works with business and technical executives and senior management across the organization to develop a strategy for execution on region goals.
• Develops and maintains standards, procedures, and work processes for the department that are competitive with industry standards. Stays knowledgeable of competition and important emerging technologies and standards.
• Develops dynamic team, driving accountability and ensuring competence and continuity of performance.
• Collaborates with stakeholders, vendors, etc. to leverage partnerships and relationships to continue to realize and build execution capabilities.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Demonstrated ability to operate and manage in a matrix structure

• Deep and reliable expertise in Tech ops and/or Engineering within an MSO or distributed Telecom
• Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to manage day-to-day while introducing new products and services
