Editor, GFX - Motion Graphics, Video/Talk Programming
Position Summary:
SiriusXM is searching for a Motion Graphics Designer with strong visual design skills to conceptualize and create motion graphics, animations, and titles for various video projects. This person will create stand-alone packages, as well as templates for video editors to use on a recurring basis. Experience with Adobe After Effects / Premiere required. The focus of this role will be graphics, et al., but skills as a traditional editor will also be utilized.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conceptualize and create motion graphics, animations, and titles for various video projects.
• Create stand-alone packages, as well as templates for video editors to use on a recurring basis.
• Assemble recorded raw material into finished products suitable for broadcasting.
• Main focus will be on creating graphics but responsibilities may include camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics and special effects.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• None.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Must have 3-5 years of experience in creating motion graphics
• Strong knowledge of PC based workstations.
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere.
• Familiarity with other Adobe Software, such as After Effects and Photoshop.
• Knowledge in sound design software such as Audition or ProTools is a plus.
• Ability to shoot video plus.

• Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
Technical Skills:
• Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Strong knowledge of PC based workstations.
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere.
• Familiarity with other Adobe Software, such as After Effects and Photoshop.
• Knowledge in sound design software such as Audition or ProTools is a plus.
• Ability to shoot video.
