Job Summary

The Account Supervisor directs and executes program activity. This position will serve as a client contact for day-to-day needs, questions and support. This position is responsible for tactical coordination of client marketing communications programs including creative (design and editorial), production (digital and print), digital content development and general account management functions. The Account Supervisor will work closely with the Group Account Director on issues relating to operation of assigned accounts. This position functions as one of several direct points-of-contact between MXM and the client contacts.
The Account Supervisor supports the Group Account Director in the development and implementation of strategic client planning. Internal and external customer service is a key focus of this position. This position will be the conduit for continuous communication between creative, production, database and analytic teams at MXM and client stakeholders.
The Account Supervisor will be primarily responsible for overseeing and executing MXM’s direct marketing (CRM) assignment for Great West Financial, MetLife Auto & Home, and Brighthouse Financial. The Account Supervisor will also be responsible for program implementation on a day-to-day basis ensuring high quality implementation and execution by MXM, that meet or exceed client objectives. The Account Supervisor will support the account team in all facets of managing the account relationship, including schedule development and tracking, traffic and process management, invoicing, status reports, managing program execution, etc. This position facilitates creative, production and financial processes for assigned programs in a seamless manner and guides and assists the client through the process.
The incumbent ensures programs are on track to accomplish program objectives and results set forth in the engagement brief. Additionally, the Account Supervisor is expected to develop and maintain expertise related to client business, client products and direct marketing trends. The position is involved in helping to retain and grow business on the Great West, Brighthouse Financial and MetLife Account. The Account Supervisor will work closely with the Group Account Director to ensure all aspects of client’s marketing objectives are being met.
Essential Job Functions| Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results
50% -Client Service: Manages internal and external processes, assesses resources and confers with account team members. Builds client relationships and guides and assists the client through campaign execution process.
50% -Project Management: Interfaces with clients, MXM team members, partner agencies and Meredith peers to ensure print and digital projects are on target with objectives, budgets and schedules. Identifies and elevates to management team issues related to changes in project scope, budget or strategic creative direction and proactively recommends potential solutions. Assists Account Director and Business Manager in account finance tracking and client invoicing.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field, or equivalent training and/or experience.
Experience:
Five to Seven years related work experience in a project management, client management or account role, including experience in digital and content development and production. Experience in the financial vertical preferred.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Good attention to detail.
Must have strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously.
Must have the ability to manage and direct resources (Meredith and others) to aid client in achieving its marketing objectives, while managing a budget and timeline
Must be able to work effectively and confidently across departments and at all management levels (internally and externally.) Must possess excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Financial acumen critical for detailed financial responsibilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Previous client relationship marketing (CRM) experience required. Must be versed in digital and conversant in direct and email marketing.
