As a Marketing Manager for Twitter’s Data & Enterprise Solutions business, you will create and drive marketing programs to grow awareness and adoption of our data products, platform offerings, and overall enterprise solutions. You’ll work closely with the DES Sales and the broader DES Marketing team to drive adoption and sales of products through external channels.
A successful candidate is comfortable owning and executing on a demand generation funnel from scratch. The ideal candidate has experience in the social world and is ready to roll up their sleeves in a role that demands both strategic vision and executional excellence.
What You’ll Do
• Translate complex concepts and business needs into creative, impactful, and scalable marketing programs that resonate with businesses and developers
• Specifically, you will own the email marketing function for the greater DES marketing team: create, tweak, change email content based on team needs and be able to take email campaigns from ideation through execution.
• Partner closely with different lines of business to help them succeed with email as a channel
• Create and execute organic and paid marketing campaign on Twitter, Google Adwords, LinkedIn and other channels.
• Proactively look to improve channel and campaign performance by making iterative upgrade recommendations to relevant teams based on testing; audience segmentation and lifecycle strategies; B2B and marketing best practices; and out-of-the-box creative thinking.
• Keep up-to-date with Twitter’s brand requirements, and ensure consistency and adherence to those standards.
• Provide ongoing thought leadership and best practice guidance around email, web, and outbound marketing tactics
What We’re Looking For
• Passion for the transformative power of social data
• Understanding of email and marketing software landscape and how to use various tools
• Experience building and launching campaigns within Eloqua, Marketo, ExactTarget or other similar enterprise automation platforms. Advanced experience with nurture campaigns & lead scoring a plus.
• Proficiency in HTML and CSS (some experience with JavaScript and SQL is a plus).
• Some experience with Photoshop & Adobe Suite is a plus
• Exceptional proactive project management skills
• Solid experience in email channel and campaign level reporting, metrics and audience analysis, as well as a moderate level of fluency with data interpretation.
• 3+ years developing and executing marketing initiatives with measurable results
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Bachelor’s degree
