This is an once in a lifetime opportunity to kick-start your career within key strategic departments across Spotify. The Aspiring Media Professionals (AMP) Development Program is a 16-month full-time rotational program focused on driving diverse experiences in strategy-focused roles in our Content, Marketing, & Premium Business organizations. To maximize the learning experience, you will work on exciting projects in three separate rotations, one in each participating organization - learn more below:
Brand & Creative
The Brand & Creative team is the creative and strategic hub of the Spotify brand. As a brand strategist on this growing team, you will help an experienced group of creatives and brand managers develop tight communications strategies and bring campaigns to market for the Spotify brand, artists, partners, and more. You will also gain deep insight into what is required for a company to scale marketing impact locally, regionally, and globally.
You will support the team by:
• Applying your curiosity and critical thinking to a wide variety of projects across our marketing department
• Helping our strategy team develop creative solutions to business problems
• Conducting audience research, competitive audits, and other forms of research & analysis
• Sharing your findings through slide decks, written summaries, and presentations
• Working with our brand management team to bring campaigns to life through the production process
Content Management
The Content Management team at Spotify provides the tools & contexts to help the Content & Creator organization do more of the right things better & faster. Our work involves creating, leading & constantly improving frameworks that help people understand how their work fits into Content & Creator’s mission, vision, & contributes to the team’s overall goals.
You will support the team by:
• Acting as a partner & counsel to Spotify’s Content & Creator team, being able to structure and develop insightful data analysis, and compelling recommendations regarding issues within Spotify.
• Developing the communications strategy for the Content and Creator Organization, including cadenced information sharing sessions, newsletters, and meetings.
• Supporting planning & analysis, continuous improvement and the management of large, global projects.
• Conducting research and analysis to continually improve our understanding of how the Content & Creator team interacts with the entire company, and to help the team overcome important challenges.
• Leading new iterations of already established projects and help accelerate their success.
Premium Business
The dynamic, high-impact Conversion Team at Spotify focuses on converting free Spotify users to a paid Premium subscription across 60 markets around the world. The team is responsible for the strategy of increasing our global subscriber growth. The team leads the channels such as audio-, video- and banner-ads, in-app placements, email, push notification, the website assets, performance marketing. The team also works closely with various product and engineering teams to shape how the various Spotify Premium product proposition is being presented to users - both in evergreen and lifecycle marketing as well as impactful seasonal campaigns.
You will support the team by:
• Contributing to the creation and execution of Spotify’s US as well global subscription programs by analyzing data, dashboards and user behavior to identify new upsell opportunities in various user segments and suggest new relevant upsell moments and campaigns.
• Working with the channel teams to develop new compelling creative assets, where you will assist in the production as project manager to ensure precise and timely delivery to build, test and scale work-class marketing campaigns
• Compiling research to support conversion strategy, where you will make a daily difference thanks to your passion for digital media & music, analytics skills & ability to present your thinking in a crystal clear and assertive way.
