Job Description:
Project Coordinator - eLearning Content
The Project Coordinator, eLearning Content Development is responsible for managing the development of high-quality curriculum, within an efficient process, for residential and commercial architects, as well as the concrete, masonry and infrastructure segments. This position directs the project from topic recommendation through to publishing and is the key communication point with the client. Responsibilities range from concept development of courses through final proofing, including setting schedules; creating and enforcing deadlines; maintaining quality, integrity, consistency, and efficiency; monitoring content development workflow; copyediting and fact checking.
Major Job Responsibilities and Related Duties:
Course Workflow Project Management
• Support development of new courses by working closely with clients, writers, third party vendors and internal teams
• Organize and maintain client schedules to ensure steady work streams of course development through company production tracking system, WorkFront.
• Establish, track, and enforce deadlines for all assigned projects by...
◦ Providing clear and engaged communication with clients and internal teams
◦ Managing client expectations to be consistent with project goals
◦ Monitoring progress of tasks and making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful and timely delivery
Content and Editing
• Research topics that serve the residential and commercial architecture and construction fields’ continuing education requirements
• Review and edits manuscripts as needed
• Copyedit all content for style, accuracy, and meaning
• Ensure all copy and art elements fit templates and deliver an engaged experience
• Use Articulate and Storyline course creation platforms and Learning Management Systems
Essential Physical Functions
• Occasional overnight travel will be required
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 10 lbs.
Skills and Experience:
• 3-5 years of experience as a writer or editor of educational or training content
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of experience in Education, HRD, or Instructional Design
• Knowledge of project management process and workflow
• Knolwedge of building or construction industries preferred
• Strong commuication and organization skills
• Adeptness with client interactions
• Ability to work independently on large, multi-faceted, deadline driven tasks
• Strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to consistenly meet strict project deadlines and navigate challenges
