Job Introduction
Purpose of the role
This role will primarily execute digital communications around key markets, adding expertise and value-added support to any launch or broadcast plans for our growing customer base. The Online Marketing Executive will be required to contribute and help implement launch plans for key titles and back catalogue promotions managed by the genre marketers, ensuring that these plans reflect the requirements of all BBCW regionally based teams and global functions.
Role Responsibility
Accountabilities
Under the supervision of the Online Marketing Manager the main accountabilities will be:
Events and Markets
• To brief digital artwork and assets for markets and key titles to the Creative team in a timely and well considered manner, in order for Creative to execute world class marketing campaigns.
• To contribute to regular content meetings and produce detailed planning documentation, ensuring timely launch of digital strategies particularly around global markets such as MIPCOM/MIPTV and Showcase, ensuring all activity is visible to the relevant people in the business.
• Working with various stakeholders, plan and manage communications and attendance lists for additional events at trade markets. Ensure staff and delegates are kept up to date with necessary information.
• Working closely with creative and IT teams, manage the delivery of the bbcworldwide digital catalogue.
Programme Marketing
• Working closely with insights, editorial and genre marketing teams, plan, build and distribute performance updates post TX for selected priority titles. Manage monthly ratings meetings with all teams to discuss upcoming title launches.

• Working closely with genre marketing teams update the www.bbcworldwidesales.com website around each trade market and launches of key titles. Using photoshop create the artwork to be used on the bbcworldwidesales.com homepage.
Relationships
• Works with all stakeholders to ensure digital marketing campaigns are fit for purpose, and that data, learnings and ROI analysis from campaigns is reported back to the business.
• This role will have regular contact with the Online Marketing Manager, and other genre marketers. Strong relationships will also need to be formed with key digital, social media, and IT associates around the business, and the Creative team, to develop new ideas and initiatives that drive value to the business.
• Build close working relationships with the global events team, to guide and support online event processes. Manage communications and attendance lists for larger trade events.
Salesforce
• Working closely with sales teams, manage campaigns on salesforce, ensuring global teams are kept across key trade event information and any updates are communicated promptly.
Business support
• To manage purchase orders, invoices and team admin as directed.
The Ideal Candidate
Experience of using DotMailer or equivalent ESP.
Excellent project management, administrative and IT skills.
Excellent organisational skills; able to prioritise a large workload according to ever changing business needs.
Demonstrable customer management experience; able to communicate effectively at all levels and deliver solutions quickly.
Candidate must be organised, flexible and have the ability to work across times zones, and prioritise marketing requirements from a variety of sources and identify early on potential conflicts.
Good Apple Mac skills including a good knowledge of Photoshop and Microsoft Office.
A working knowledge of HTML is beneficial but not essential.
