Job Summary:
The Marketing Operations Program Specialist will assist Marketing Operations Manager in coordination of operational components related to customer impacting programs that originate within the marketing function. In addition, the Specialist will work closely with Sales & Product Marketing, Division Project Management Office (DPMO), Finance, IS, Tech Ops and Care departments to assist in execution of their programs that impact the billing systems, frontline employees, and customers.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Provide support to the Product Marketing, DPMO, Finance, IS, Tech Ops, and Care teams.
• Maintain and Manage the Repository database for the West Division Marketing Operations Team.
• Act as liaison between Product Marketing, DPMO and the IS department by attending project meetings as assigned.
• Enter and track OFA and Change Management tickets as needed to support West Division product launches.
• Assist with billing code management to ensure accurate execution of West Division strategies across all billing systems and product/service ordering platforms.
• Partner with IS Teams to determine offer configuration for billing systems and product/service ordering platforms (CSG, Sales Portal, Comcast.com buy-flow, etc.) that meets the strategic intent, as well as taking into consideration the needs of our end users on the frontline and our external customers.
• Capture regional nuances (product availability, competitor variations, bulk properties, regulated charges, policy differences, etc.).
• Assist Care Teams with research and provide guidance needed to handle customer escalations.
• Provide updates on projects and assigned tasks on a weekly basis.
Core Responsibilities:
• Researches, writes, and develops supporting marketing materials and presents recommendations to Marketing Manager or internal committee.
• Reviews literature pertaining to the current marketing project and previous marketing materials used in the assignment area.
• Acts as a point of contact for questions on department communications materials.
• Provides leadership and oversight to lower-level Marketing Specialists.
• Gathers materials of competitive companies in the field.
• Assists in translating business needs into analysis designs providing insight, knowledge, and understanding of customers, products, and industries.
• Helps to create reporting to measure success of Marketing programs.
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Specification:
• Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
• Generally requires 5-7 years related experience
Additional Requirements:
• Project and Process Management skills
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio)
• CSG Billing System experience preferred
• Cable Industry experience a plus
• Writing documentation including processes, flowcharts, presentations
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management using verbal and written skills
