Manager, Brand Marketing - (VRV)
The VRV Brand Marketing Manager will play a key role in the strategic development and maintenance of the VRV brand and lead execution of marketing initiatives designed to drive VRV brand awareness among our passionate audience. This position requires understanding our industry and audience dynamics, identifying growth levers to activate new users and the ability to execute marketing campaigns supporting VRV brand reach. Outstanding organization and prioritization skills are required to decide how best to promote VRV in a consistent and effective manner, setting appropriate levels of promotion and ensuring that any use of VRV is on-message and on-brand. Additionally, a strong knowledge of pop culture is key as the Brand Marketing Manager is to be the in-house expert on the content on VRV and how the VRV brand connects to its audience.
Responsibilities:
• Champion the VRV brand across multiple areas:
◦ Strategize on campaign ideas designed to drive VRV Brand Awareness and education of VRV’s offering to our target audience. Drive creative vision for marketing campaigns…
◦ Work cross functionally and externally to ensure all use of VRV is consistent and inline with brand guidelines across various stakeholders such as Marketing, Product, Events, Audience Development, Creative Services and VRV’s channel partners
◦ Determine messaging/copy and key titles to promote in marketing assets
◦ Create a vision for VRV at conventions and events, working within a predetermine budget
◦ Work closely with Creative Services to ensure the brand messaging is being conveyed effectively
◦ Measure key Brand KPIs such as brand awareness, reach, NPS, trend reports and social sentiment
• Work closely with Partner Management to handle internal and external approvals for all use of assets
• Actively partner with Audience Development and Marketing teams to promote titles and support title usage for customer research and acquisition
• Facilitate the production of VRV brand creative work across various channels, working closely with Creative Services team… Generate copy, content, storyboards and scripts for use by Marketing as needed
• Serve as an in-house content expert, responsible for deep knowledge of the content on VRV
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree or MBA in Marketing or related disciplines preferred
• 4-5+ years experience in marketing digital media
• Experience working across multiple departments with design, social, events & marketing teams
• Must be a driven self-starter who can consistently uncover areas for improvement
• Strong analytic and critical thinking skills, ability to collect and interpret data to make decisions
• Strong project management skills, including the ability prioritize many and varied projects from concept to execution - works quickly and flexible to adapt to various situations at hand
• Team player - works well across the organization and takes guidance, suggestion and direction from others
• Creative and strategic thinker who brings fresh ideas, new perspectives and a wealth of enthusiasm
