Strategy Director
Want to be part of an award-winning content agency, creating industry-lauded marketing programs? MXM is searching for an experienced leader who can guide teams to deliver innovative, noteworthy and engaging content and experiences for major brands across digital, social and other emerging channels.
The Strategy Director is responsible for serving as the strategy lead over a group of accounts with associated client relationship development, cross-functional team oversight, and cross-channel strategic oversight. This includes driving annual strategic planning, identifying emerging opportunities, and redirecting the account quarter-to-quarter. The Strategy Director will oversee and participate in the support of a leading Automotive account, to include POV briefings on new technologies, trends and/or opportunities for engagement and delivery of the client’s business objectives. Finally, the Strategy Director will work with the Executive Director to drive toward practice mission and enterprise goals, oversee performance management, team workflow, thought leadership and product development.
This position:
• Sets the strategic marketing direction for major brands in partnership with MXM’s creative and social engagement teams, including brand voice and tone, content plan and year-round marketing activations
• Develops go-to-market plans for marketing channel ecosystem and tactics therein
• Develops, oversees and interprets on-going CRM experiments, in order to test, learn and optimize messaging content, creative, frequency and segmentation
• Monitors, collects and refines strategic direction based on content marketing advancements, industry research, and competitive intel
• Becomes an expert in digital consumer behavior
• Educates team members and clients on opportunities for innovation, drafting agency POVs and trainings
• Identifies and manages strategic implementation of technology and social platform partner relationships
Minimum Qualifications: All must be met to be considered.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent training and/or experience in Email and/or Direct Mail marketing
Experience:
At least 5+ years marketing experience, preferably in Automotive CRM, digital marketing, and/or a strategic role
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Demonstrates knowledge of both CRM and digital marketing landscape and trends
