The Daily Advertiser part of the USA TODAY NETWORK a top global digital media company, which reaches more than 100 million people monthly through a powerful network of mobile & publishing properties, has an exciting opportunity for an Inside Sales Account Executive with call center experience that will be responsible for maintaining existing accounts, building customer relationships, identifying and selling new accounts, ensuring account compliance to national agreement guidelines, ensuring accuracy of rates, sustaining excellent customer service.
The candidate will professionally, effectively and accurately represent our products (which include Quik Quarter and the Daily Advertiser) in the marketplace, facilitating brand strength and credibility; they will support sales team in meeting annual revenue goals; be able to develop a network of contacts to identify client needs and deliver effective proposals and develop sales opportunities; will utilize strong negotiation skills internally and externally to develop strong positioning, pricing, premiums, sponsorships, etc. The Inside Sales Account Executive sells multi-media advertising solutions primarily through outbound calling.
In this role, you will:
• The primary responsibility is to grow market share within a designated account list through the combination of acquiring new business and increasing current client spend while increasing client satisfaction.
• Maintains an awareness of revenue responsibilities and performance to goal.
• Develops and works a pipeline of potential customers’ growth within existing base; produces accurate forecasts.
• Communicates with clients on needs analysis, delivering proposals/campaigns and conflict resolution.
• Negotiates contracts/rates while keeping customer ROI and the Company’s rate integrity intact.
Here’s what you need:
• Associates degree, Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years in an inside sales position.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required.
• Experience in SalesForce, a plus.
