Account Sales Executive
The Advertising Services team continuously works to provide the highest level of service and uphold the standards of Dow Jones and The Wall Street Journal. The Ad Services team is the “go to” people working closely with sales, agencies and internal teams maintaining and administering company policies and guidelines. They must set forth a solid foundation of the most up-to-date and precise information within our organization both domestically and internationally. The associate is a liaison between sales, clients, agencies, editorial and operations. The team provides solutions, suggestions and production services to sales, agencies, and suppliers.
Responsibilities:
• Manage digital/print sales accounts for The Wall Street Journal.
• Set up and make face-to-face calls with advertising agencies and clients in order to present and close deals.
• Develop digital/print ad sales media plans, based on RFP's, research, and recommendations.
• Interface with agencies/clients for creative assets, campaign optimization and reporting.
• Communicate and follow up with client and internal departments regarding live campaigns to address any concerns.
• Ideal candidate is someone who possesses the ability to take initiative and drive projects with minimal supervision.
Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of digital sales experience is required.
• Advertisement sales experience at a media company or advertising agency is required.
• Native in Japanese and Business English communication skill (both verbal & written) is required.
• Excellent understanding of digital media and web knowledge is preferred.
• Highly organized with the ability to multi task.
