Quality Assurance Manager, Billing Design
Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable Manager of Quality Assurance to ensure that all external and internal requirements are met before our product reaches our customers. You will be responsible for inspecting procedures and outputs and identifying mistakes or non-conformity issues. The ideal candidate is a reliable and competent professional whose approval will be necessary for the continuation of a business life cycle. The goal is to assure the high quality of our operations and services aiming to the long-term success of our business. This position is responsible for translating business strategy and needs into defined projects to ensure alignment between the business and IT. This role understands existing and proposed business processes and information system capabilities to assist with planning cross-departmental solutions that will benefit the enterprise. This position will serve as a trusted liaison to the business, utilizing business relationship management skills to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction. Specifically, this role is responsible for facilitating discussions with the business sponsors and IT delivery leads to develop and approve the project charter, as well as communicating the project definition and approval status to executive leadership. This role also supports IT delivery by determining staffing needs and submitting the necessary requests to ensure projects are staffed appropriately.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assure the reliability and consistency of production by checking processes and final output
• Appraise customers’ requirements and make sure they are satisfied
• Report all malfunctions to production executives to ensure immediate action
• Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data
• Review current standards and policies
• Keep records of quality reports, statistical reviews and relevant documentation
• Ensure all legal standards are met
• Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
• Translates business strategy, product strategy and direction, and IT strategy into IT initiatives
• Integrates existing and planned initiatives into a cohesive and collaborative approach leveraging service delivery teams
• Contributes to solution design among IT delivery teams incorporating cross-disciplinary functions and teams
• Works with the business to identify business process improvement opportunities and system solutions
• Supports the business through development of scope documentation, project charters and change requests as appropriate
• Works with the business client to prepare business cases, TCO analyses, and project approval documents as needed
• Helps assess TCO, efficiency and technical viability of proposed solutions
• Provides communication to the business client regarding status of project definition and approval
• Supports EPMO in determining staffing necessary to implement approved initiatives
• Facilitates gathering and documentation of functional requirements
• Implements design of supporting business processes
• Assists with resolution of cross-departmental, business integration issues
• Collaborates with project teams/Project Managers and others to ensure all requirements and services
• appropriately address the defined business processes and support all components of the functional business; assists Project Managers in development of project plans
• Supports and follows tools and templates necessary to support EIO functions
Required Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a quality assurance manager or relevant role
• Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards
• Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods
• Good knowledge of MS Office and databases
• Outstanding communication skills
• Great attention to detail and a results driven approach
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
• Reliable and Trustworthy
• BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field
• Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.)

• Advanced understanding of core business processes and existing system capabilities

Education:
• BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience
Related Work Experience:
• 8-10 years IT/Business Process Analysis/Project Management experience;
• 1-2 years functional management experience
