The Role
As Web Production Manager, you will be responsible for managing the web producer team and overall communication objectives and quality in regards to content, design, functionality, and programming. The Web Production Manager is also responsible for the overall project management and client relationship (content providers within various Autodesk Market Groups, Geographies and departments) in the group.
The position has the responsibility of ensuring that all aspects of web production meet Autodesk Web standards, guidelines, and objectives in coordination with the Web Design & Standards Group. The Web Production Manager will also be responsible for identifying, procuring and integrating new resources and personnel into the team together with the Web Marketing Manager. The position will also manage major or crucial projects for the company as a producer.
Your Responsibilities:
• Managing Web Producers and major or crucial projects for the company
• Oversee the producer team overall web project and client relationship quality.
• Ensure that Web Team content guidelines and standards are applied consistently across all projects.
• Identify, procure and educate necessary resources for web projects in coordination with the Web Marketing Management Group
• Oversee the client review process to ensure overall web production quality and client satisfaction with the web producer team.
• Work closely with the Web Design & Standards and Technical Groups in developing and maintaining the overall web site architecture, content guidelines, style guides, and standards.
• Work closely with Web Team Design & Standards and Technical Groups to evaluate and implement innovative web communication techniques that can be applied to autodesk.com and recommended to Autodesk content providers where applicable and appropriate.
• Other responsibilities assigned by the Web Publishing Manager.
Requirements:
• 2 years experience in people management
• 4 years experience of a project management related discipline required.
• Experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS), experience with Adobe Experience Manager is a plus.
• Experience with HTML
Desired Knowledge/Skills:
• Ability to manage personnel, project schedules, and prioritize and meet multiple large- and small-scale project deadlines.
• Solid understanding of and experience with Internet Technology and Communications in an International environment.
• PC literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Microsoft Project.
• Excellent time management, written and communications skills.
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical service and content providers.
• Self-motivated and willing to work odd hours to complete critical tasks in a timely manner.
• Possess a professional and cooperative attitude.
• Team-oriented.
