Position Summary:
Producer for four hour live show. Will help produce the video version of the daily show, make sure we are prepared (have created tape, have supporting materials) for every guest, every segment, every tape spot. Will closely interface with existing radio show staff and understand what is coming and what outside of the office projects are underway. Will help create video franchises (embedded, etc.) and will work in and out of studio, with archival and live elements. You will be a strong editorial voice on our team. Must have strong writing and producing experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Operate as a lead Producer for daily interview and comedy radio show.
• Write comedy scripts, teases, and guest segment intros.
• Determine video and sound for assigned segments.
• Communicate daily story development with Supervising Producer.
• Be in control room during airing of live show.
• Take part in editorial planning.
• Pitch story ideas.
• Possess ability to develop story ideas, research, and plan segments.
• Responsible for creating video tape spots with editor. Those tape spots can include.
• Creating daily clips, daily cut down version of interviews and comedy bits from daily show.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Work with editors, AE's, social media team, etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Must have 3-5 years (ideally comedy) writing experience.
• Must have 3 -5 years producing experience.
• Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, under tight deadline pressure, including breaking news.
• Must be willing to travel.
• Shooting and editing knowledge a plus.

• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
Technical Skills:
• Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Idea candidate will have basic edit knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Basic camera skills Cannon 200.
