OVERVIEW
This position is responsible for administrative support and assisting the Corporate Marketing Group with organizational and technical tasks related to the production of video and print marketing, corporate promotional initiatives, meetings and events. Primary responsibilities are organizational administration, general production coordination, project management and assistant editorial tasks including office and admin assistance and ingest, organization, output and delivery of content for editing and overall media management of corporate marketing creative assets. Duties include, accounting assistance and expense reporting, managing production schedules, operation of video and editing equipment, file delivery, quality control for broadcast, implementation and organization of graphics and other related materials. Additionally, the production coordinator assures all transport, organization and safekeeping of media and metadata through the PDAM system, on edit storage and various networks.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist with pre-production and production of Network Integrated Marketing shoots, internal corporate video shoots and photo shoots.
• Manage all AMC Networks Corporate Trade and Journal ads as well as special print projects from network groups. Manage budgets; oversee copywriting, and layout design.
• Process all vendor invoices for Corporate Marketing department in Webpac payment system.
• Perform administrative tasks such as meeting scheduling, expense reporting and travel coordination.
• Act as gatekeeper for assets going in and out of the department. Ensure proper receipt and delivery of assets, and compliance with technical standards. Ensure proper and efficient transport, organization and storage of assets.
• Perform Quality Control of on-air promos for compliance with tech specs.
• Coordinate AV and technical specs for internal and external meetings and event deliverables.
• Fulfill all media and video requests for AMC Networks executives internal and external keynote presentations.
• Routinely consolidate and purge media and files as necessary. Archive projects and files as necessary. Regular “housecleaning” of edit systems and media. Backup to archive, server, otherwise as needed.
• File conversion and compression.
• Receive and manage all graphics and graphics packages. Ensure graphics meet technical standards. Actively organize and store graphics to ensure optimal workflow.
• Stay up to date on video and audio equipment, software, standards and practices.
• Ensure projects are completed in a timely manner; meet all existing technical and stylistic protocols.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 2-3 years experience in broadcast or cable TV production.
• High attention to detail
• Highly organized
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Project management
• General knowledge of Avid - ingest, edit, output.
• General knowledge of Avid Isis structure server environment.
• Knowledge of compression formats, codecs and compression software such as Mac Compressor and Sorenson Squeeze.
• General knowledge of video signalflow, synch, and tape formats.
• General knowledge of video and audio tech specs on broadcast level – chroma, luma and all video levels.
• Experience with/in media management, shared edit storage, servers, ftp, Media Asset Management systems.
• General and specific knowledge of Production & Post-Production workflow.
• Knowledge of digital media file formats.
