Job Description:
The Life & Arts section is seeking a versatile and creative news editor. The position offers the opportunity to work on innovative and lively features in subjects ranging from health, food, fitness and family, to books, music, movies,TV and art. The editor is part of an editing team that works directly with reporters on the Life & Arts staff and throughout the WSJ to conceptualize ideas, and edit features and news stories on all our platforms. The team has a strong emphasis in high-impact visual presentation, from photos to interactive graphics to videos.
Applicants should have at least five years editing experience and demonstrated skills in feature editing, headline writing and managing reporters. The ideal candidate would have a wide range of interest in culture and lifestyle subjects as well as strong digital and visual skills.
