The Associate Project Manager will report to the Senior Project Manager for Global Product Executive. The associate will be responsible for providing project management support to deliver key strategic projects. This will include operational processes in addition to special projects aligned to goals and must-wins for the Global Product organization.
• Prepare and manage project plans, monitor and track project’s progress to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification
• Communicate and manage timelines and accountabilities
• Provide research and support for strategic planning process, track and measure effectiveness through use of dashboards and KPIs
• Work with senior project manager and management teams to prepare effectively for meetings and plan agendas and manage the Global Product calendar
• Support internal and external communication teams to ensure clarity and messaging alignment within the organization
Qualifications
The successful associate for this position will possess:
• Previous project management experience (1-2 years): creating project plans, managing deadlines, and managing cross-functional stakeholders
• Coordination and organization skills with attention to detail to drive and follow through on projects, tasks and actions
• Strong analytical abilities to digest a very wide variety of information and communicate to a different partners and stakeholders
• Interpersonal skills to work with senior colleagues and contacts
• Strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools, Adobe Acrobat. Experience with project management software and applications (e.g. Microsoft Project; Trello) a plus
