As the Assistant Brand Manager, within our flagship Harlequin brand and our digital first imprint Carina Press, you will assist in managing creative campaigns and promotional programs to drive awareness and sales amongst current and new consumers, as well as in developing new promotional partnership opportunities.
Responsibilities:
WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO:
•Assist in the development of brand and promotional initiatives for Harlequin series and Carina Press
•Support brand manager in the planning, execution and budgeting of promotions, including collaborating and liaising with internal stakeholders
•Coordinate development of various marketing support materials including print and digital
•Liaise with external marketing partners and assist in development of new partnerships
•Contribute creative ideas to the Core series and Carina Press marketing planning process
•Assist in conducting robust analysis on promotion campaigns and programs
Qualifications:
ABOUT YOU:
•2-3 years’ consumer facing promotional experience, with a strong background in digital marketing and proven ability to establish and measure against campaign KPI’s
•Partnership development & relationship management experience
•Enthusiastic, highly collaborative, detail-oriented team player with exceptional creativity, problem solving, and decision-making skills
•Calm under pressure, with the ability to take initiative, operate in cross-functional teams and prioritize multiple projects under tight timelines.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
•Interest or knowledge of/experience in book publishing.
•Strong interest and understanding of digital marketing and social media.
•Excellent written communications, copywriting and analytical skills.
