Summary
As a research analyst at Comcast Technology Solutions, you will be familiar with market research and insights requests and responding in a streamlined but impactful way.
You have had access to market research third party vendors before and know how to synthesize reports, trends, forecasts and analyst information into bite sized information that is relevant to our company and industry.
You're a dynamic, detail-oriented multi-tasker who can juggle lots of projects in a timely fashion. You have a passion for the evolving media landscape, and can gracefully articulate why. You use the information you gather to inform the business on future trends in the industry with the goal of making sure we do not miss out on opportunities.
You'll be responsible for gathering and analyzing information about a market, product, or service to be offered in a market, and the past, present, and potential customers for the product or service. You'll research market conditions specific to your area of focus to determine potential sales of product and provides research on behalf of customer. You have in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in market research and insights. You need little guidance on your work priorities. You act as resource for colleagues with less experience.
Core Responsibilities
• Researches market conditions specific to area of focus to determine potential sales of product and provides research on behalf of customer.
• Gathers data on competitors; analyzes and compares such competitive factors.
• Prepares and submits statistical reports, graphic illustrations of findings, and action plan recommendations to marketing research management.
• Help develop competitive landscape analysis and develop a scalable framework of sales and business development materials for sales enablement
• Comfortable with building research presentations tailoring your message to your audience.
• Maintains updates on marketing research and new developments through contacts with educational institutions, professional organizations, publications, and vendors.
• Understands and practices various statistical concepts, research data, standards, and practices.
• Works directly with cross-functional teams and department leadership to create research presentations and summaries.
• Prior experience w/ comScore, Rentrak, Forrester, Parks and Assoc., data visualization tools, eMarketer, S&P Global Market Intelligence, etc. preferred.
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
Education Level
• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
Years of Experience
• Generally requires 5-7 years related experience
