KTLA is looking for a Traffic Coordinator to join the team.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for scheduling all commercials within assigned day-part of the schedule including clearing oversell, by issuing make-goods, manipulating inventory to insure equitable rotations for all advertisers, checking spots in all breaks to maintain spot separation from competing advertisers, and maximizing commercial inventory to meet sales goals.
Adjusting daily formats of show if necessary, and finalize and print 3-4 daily logs per week.
Back-up and assist Copy Coordinators when necessary.
Qualifications:
College degree preferred and a minimum of 1-2 years Broadcast Traffic/Sales experience at Radio or TV station.
Candidate must have strong computer and excellent communication skills.
Must be willing to work in a team environment, and have a positive attitude.
Ideal candidate will be organized, detail oriented, and work well under deadlines.
Preference will be given to candidates with prior TV Traffic experience.
WideOrbit experience a plus.
