Director, Navisite Channel Sales
Director, Navisite Channel Sale swill be responsible for building and driving the indirect sales model for Spectrum Enterprise’s Navisite group. In this role, this person will be tasked in a leadership position to build and lead NaviSite’s sales efforts across the partner, affiliate and reseller community for the Spectrum Enterprise’s Navisite business. This individual will carry a monthly quota and will be expected to sell with and through channel partners globally. This includes managing a team that drives recruitment and on-boarding of new partners and management of existing partners to ensure maximum revenue generation. This individual will also partner with channel marketing in the planning and execution of various marketing programs to maximize outreach and exposure in the partner community and drive new sales..
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Driving monthly sales and new bookings via the partner and resellerchannels
• Channel sales management, ranging from partner onboarding/recruitment efforts thru sales execution
• Proposal and business case creation and customization for new partner opportunities
• Work cross organizationally with product management and marketing to enhance partner portal effectiveness, functionality, partner reporting and more
• Aggressive measurement, analysis, and ROI for all marketing programs, promotions, and other activities
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
• Ideal candidate will have 8+ years experience in software or IT/Cloud services sales leadership.. Other areas of expertise considered would be cloud security, messaging, VoIP, or database services market sold through MSPs, and VARs
• Good understanding of hosting, infrastructure, software and channel sales
• Use of Salesforce.com to manage customer/prospects and sales forecasting
• BA degree in marketing, communications or equivalent experience required
• Very strong written and verbal communication skills
• ability to work within a team and facilitate communication among several departments
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to take initiative in researching, proposing, and championing new and better ways of communicating messages and brand value
• Ability to effectively and articulately interact with partners
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Ability to engage with and motivate partner marketing to support requirements
• Ability to develop and implement partner business plans that drive revenue goals
• Ability to recruit new partnerships
• Technically adept, experienced with Cloud, Hosting and Managed Services
• Ability to optimize investments in the channel to drive sales
