Tablet games. Founded in September 2009, FGOL create wholly owned and original IP which by May 2017 had achieved over 470 million downloads worldwide following the success of Hungry Shark Evolution. The long-awaited Hungry Shark World, which was released May 2016 is already a smashing success with over 10 million downloads worldwide.
Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creative Input and Management:
• Plan and analyze content to inform, entertain and expand our reach on Social Media, advertising and other digital marketing campaigns (TV,Trailers, Digital Media, Promotions & Events, Packaging and other printed materials…)
• Support Marketing Director to deliver best in class creative executions
• Monitor assets’ delivery and their brand consistency with Coordinators
• Work with marketing artist(s) to create assets relevant to campaigns, provided to operational marketing, PR and other internal & external groups
• Master brand guidelines to ensure consistency in all deliveries
Proposals and Execution of Marketing Plans for the Hungry Shark Games:
• Manage tactics and propose objectives and strategies for product launches & updates
• Work with multiple stakeholders to optimize plans
• In specific, work closely with Design & Live Operations team to influence exciting content updates for our targets
• Deliver head-turning campaigns based on game content sourced by the development team
• Work closely with the Community Developer to convey brand identity to our audience (visual + copy) & gather relevant feedback
• Elaboration of Gate documents
• Execution of HQ requests
• Management of the corporate brand communication
• Manage social media for FGOL Studio Brand in cooperation with the Community Developer
• Manage and update FGOL website and corporate pages
• Support PR, trade shows and corporate events acting as a brand champion and strengthening the position of both the studio and its products
• Maintain relevant FGOL style guides in collaboration with the Marketing Art Team.
Support Creation of Game Deliverables:
• ASO
• Copy writing
• Visuals
• AB Testing
• Localising
• Folders Maintenance
• Define, qualify & quantify game targets for marketing
• Manage marketing budget & campaigns (ensuring all approvals are sought & obtained).
Marketing Research:
• Conduct competitive analysis, and post mortem reporting on plan execution and ASO activities
• Embody best practices, keeping a keen eye on campaigns from competitors and industry trends.
• Perform data analysis and synthesize data, market trends and user feedback to build insightful product features
• Monitor games positioning in the marketplace.
• Support for Performance Marketing
• Creating Copy variants in collaboration with the Business Intelligence and Live Operations team
• Assist in the creation of campaigns
• Assist in analysis and optimization from a marketing POV
• Assist in defining target audiences and personas.
• KEY PERFORMANCE CRITERIA:
• Be able to handle a mobile gaming project from concept to post-launch
• Possess great attention to detail and have an extensive experience implementing programs and managing projects with measurable results
• Support the company hitting its key KPIs by helping improve its customer acquisition, monetization,
engagement and its App Store presence
• Be able to juggle multiple projects, creative ideas and administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong ability to work collaboratively and with integrity; embody a corporate standard of active, capable and professional engagement with assigned role
• Expert communicator. Understand how to communicate on social media and in a professional environment with different stakeholders. Able to create creative copy for different channels, in tune with the brand.
• Understand and activate the right digital marketing expertise for the right mission
• Strong ability to prioritise a varied workload with multiple long and short-term deadlines, contributing to large multi-team projects
• Data analysis skills and the ability to synthesize data, market trends and user feedback to build insightful product features
• Excellent knowledge of the Office Suite
• Work without direct supervision.
• SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
• Previous commercial experience in F2P or a mobile gaming studio
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalen
• Experience with App Store Optimisation and User Acquisition in mobile
• Keen interest in gaming, with over 4 years of knowledge within the marketing sphere especially focused on coordination of consumers, brand, social media and product management
• Native level fluency in English (spoken and written) with Great verbal and written communication skills, with excellent copywriting, grammar and attention to detail.
• Contribute to a positive work environment and a healthy team culture
• Be a creative and innovative thinker with the ability to deliver on new ideas.
• Ability to synthesize data, market trends and user feedback to build insightful product features
• Strong organisational, interpersonal, reporting, presentation and communication skills.
PLUS:
• Be able to handle a mobile gaming project from concept to post-launch
• Experience with the Adobe Suite, making creative assets from scratch
• Good knowledge of WordPress, Photoshop or ASO tools would be a strong plus
• Experience working with global brands in a multicultural environment
• Knowledge of multiple language
• Ideally, having shipped one game successfully on the appstores
• Budget management experience
• Experience working with license owners.
