The Supply Chain Solutions Lead is the main interface between the Supply Chain business function and technology, and is responsible for any enterprise solutions for Supply Chain from concept through to delivery and support.
Within the Enabling Programme this role will take end to end responsibility for the design, development, implementation and support of the Supply Chain modules of the Enabling Programme IT solution. In support of this the role will also own financial integration with other systems and legacy systems financial data migration.
The Supply Chain Solutions Lead will lead a team of analysts in creating a systems solution capable of meeting the business requirements in a cost effective, robust, and scalable way.
Day to day working with be aligned closely with the Programme roadmap, and will work closely with the Programme Management office
The SCM Solutions Lead will work closely with the chosen systems integrator.
This role will also play a key role within the deployment of Oracle in North America as the programme ramps up in that region.
Key Deliverables
• Design, develop, implement and support Supply Chain systems to the requirements of the business
• In conjunction with the business define the Supply Chain enterprise systems roadmap
• Be an IT business partner for the Supply Chain function and drive continuous improvements across the Supply Chain systems landscape
• Manage the solution for Supply Chain system integration with other systems
• Manage the solution for legacy Supply Chain data migration
• Sponsor best practice IT Supply Chain processes
• Sponsor the retirement of legacy Supply Chain legacy systems
• Setup and maintain documentation and standards
• Work as part of a team and provide 7x24 support when required
• Responsible for driving adherence to project milestones, including implementing appropriate corrective actions when progress deviates from plan
• Report and highlight workstream risks and issues to the project management team
Workstream/Line Management responsibilities
• Plans and oversees the day-to-day running of workstream/team and delivery of milestones on time.
• Manage team budget
• Ensure best practise management of the team. Including regular feedback and effective and supportive people management
• Work supportively and collaboratively with other teams
• Build relationships and trust with key stakeholder to support programme delivery and collaborative approaches where appropriate
Communicate in line with communications and programme plans with team and wider stakeholders.
Qualifications
Essential Skills /Experience
• Demonstrable experience of developing and delivering large scale Oracle EBS based technology solutions in an international business environment
• Strong track record of leading the technology based elements of complex end to end business solution, to deliver programme objectives
• Strong experience and understanding of all aspects of the Supply Chain function and related Oracle software - Logistics, Warehouse Management, Supply Chain Planning, Supply Chain Operations, Procurement, Order Management etc
• Able to actively promote and represent the core deliverables of the programme
• Ability to generate respect and trust from staff and external constituencies
• Ability to communicate professionally, clearly and effectively to target audiences.
• Excellent customer service ethic
• Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Good organisational, planning & time management skills.
• Excellent project management, planning and organisational skills.
• A track record of building, maintaining and managing strong relationships within an international business and across many different stakeholder groups.
• Excellent communication skills and understanding of how information should be presented to get across important issues to different groups of stakeholders

• The role holder must have functional and operational Credibility and be able to resolve conflict.
• 3PL and 4PL implementation experience
Workstream/Line Management Skills
• An excellent collaborative manager, able to take on aboard wide perspectives and influence positively and act as a critical friend
• Proven excellent people manager able to lead and motivate a team.
• Track record of effectively delivering large scale programmes through a team
Desirable Skills
• Experience working with ERP and Supply Chain Solutions
• 1 or more language other than English
