Associate - Paid Acquisition, Marketing
OVERVIEW:
The Paid Acquisition Associate is responsible for driving customer acquisition, customer nurturing, and conversion efforts for Shudder and Sundance Now. S/he must be motivated by hitting and exceeding aggressive growth targets.
S/he must be a creative marketer but also data-driven, highly analytical, ROI-focused with a strong track record of driving meaningful growth and engagement for a direct-to-consumer online subscription product/service.
This is a position that will demand both a keen marketing sense and strong multi-tasking skills to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate is a team player who isn’t turned off by having to get into the details, and is relentlessly passionate about growing and engaging our community of fans.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Reports to the Director of Paid Acquisition, and works closely with the Acquisition Marketing Manager
• Create and operationalize process for A/B testing campaigns, audiences, landing pages, product marketing.
• Optimize campaigns and test new tactics, messaging, and audiences to increase efficiency and decrease CPA.
• Build and test campaigns to optimize acquisition and conversion funnels, improve CPAs, and scale growth
• Help craft our strategy to grow and engage with new members
• Leverage learnings from channel optimization and multivariate testing to iterate and improve acquisition efforts
• Track and report on KPIs for all acquisition channels
• Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with the social, product, tech and operations teams to ensure successful execution of marketing programs
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 1-2 years+ experience in performance-based, growth-hacking acquisition marketing
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills a must
• Demonstrated focus on end-to-end customer experience, increasing the likelihood that prospects become customers and customers become advocates
• Proven, successful track record of increasing acquisition, nurturing, and conversions while managing against aggressive CPL, CPA, and revenue goals
• Experience with direct-to-consumer marketing of an online subscription service or product is a must
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize, self-start, contribute under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Highly organized, creative and critical thinker
• Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment
• Expert written and verbal communication skills
