Established in 2010, Ubisoft Toronto is a growing and diverse team on a collective mission to create what’s next in AAA open world games. The studio announced its first new IP at E3 2017, Starlink: Battle for Atlas, an all-new, action-adventure game where players assemble customizable controller-mounted starships and launch into epic, interplanetary adventures. The Toronto team is also hard at work on Far Cry 5 in collaboration with Ubisoft Montreal. The studio shipped its first lead production, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell® Blacklist™, to critical acclaim in 2013. Since then, the Toronto team has contributed to multiple award-winning Ubisoft brands including: Assassin’s Creed®, Far Cry®, Watch Dogs®, and For Honor TM.

Operations Coordinator
Type of Position: 3 month contract
Responsibilities:
The main and routine tasks of the Operations Coordinator are to:
Studio Services
• Coordinate Vendor Services with contractors and suppliers such as waste management, janitorial, pest control, plants and floor mat maintenance, etc;
• Oversee programs such as travel, parking, ergonomics, recycling, green space, etc;
• Coordinate Planned and Unplanned maintenance activities;
• Monitor vendor performance to ensure expected levels of services are met;
• Support employees through the operations service request platform;
• Ensure that key performance metric targets are achieved;
• Participate on special and standing committees and task forces;
• Assist with the setup and teardown of equipment, supplies and signage for events;
• Assist with the coordination of events, occasionally occurring after-hours;
• Assist the Workplace Maintenance Technician with minor repairs and installations, moving and lifting furniture, event setup and teardown, and general studio cleanliness;
Project Coordination
• Identify, research, investigate and source opportunities for studio improvements;
• Draft process change proposals and implement approved changes;
• Coordinate with other departments to bring cross-functional projects to life;
Employee Support
• Keep stakeholders informed of existing problems and pending resolutions;
• Support Team Lead / Manager with safety compliance checks, Joint Health and Safety Committee mandates, and other ad-hoc duties as required;
• Coordinate periodic internal employee relocations;
• Collaborate on annual corporate social responsibility reporting;
• Occasionally perform receptionist duties as a back-up;
Training:
• College education or equivalent training and experience.
Experience:
• 1-2 years’ experience business, operations, facilities, maintenance or a related field.
Essential skills:
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (intermediate Word/Excel/PowerPoint required)
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
• Critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Ability to handle and process documents with attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Ability to work safely and comfortably at ladder heights
