Job Scope:
The Director of Program Management (Video Operations) is responsible for strategic leadership of all complex video projects and enterprise-wide program(s). In this role, you will direct a team of Project Managers to ensure successful integration of Video related projects and to adjust project scope, timing, and budgets as needed, based on the needs of the business.
DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Accountable for the execution of established video operations project management processes and methodologies to ensure delivery of all video projects on time and within budget while meeting or exceeding quality standards and business owner expectations.
Accountable for plans and teamwork assignments, for directing work efforts, reviewing integrated project plans, and escalating and communicating resource needs. Ensures completion of quality reviews, and driving the resolution of any issues as appropriate.
Establishes video core program direction, supporting business case and various enterprise-wide high-level project and program plans.
Manages team to ensure integration of projects and adjusts project scope, timing, and budgets as needed, based on the needs of the business.
Responsible for delivering all projects contained in the video Project Portfolio on time, within budget and for meeting the strategic and business requirements. These include STS (Spectrum TV Stream), CDN, cDVR and VOD.
Responsible for tracking key project milestones and recommending adjustments to Project Managers.
Directs and mentors a team of project managers
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum Seven (7) years of experience in Management of Project Managers Minimum Ten (10) years of experience in Experience in Video Control and Distribution Systems Demonstrated experience with project management
Demonstrated exceptional leadership skills.
PMP or PgMP certification(s) required or successful completion of a recognized project management curriculum.
ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
MBA preferred
