Why this could be your next big break:
This role will be an amazing opportunity to join our HR team! You will be supporting departmental functions within Warner Music Nashville Human Resources, including but not limited to, staffing, employee on-boarding and exiting, employee relations, staff events, and employee inquiries. You will also be organizing all North America Mix & Master Learning Events and you will be ensuring these programs are delivered with consistency. Subsequently, you will be tracking global participation in learning workshops, running reports and making recommendations for continual improvement.
Here you’ll get to:
• Ensure consistent delivery of departmental processes in service to positive organizational impact, and provides support to WMN HR leadership.
• Process biweekly payroll, including extracting and communicating critical information via the processing of Workday administration (new hires, transfers, promotions, contracts, time/attendance).
• Compile personnel data and headcount reports on a monthly basis, including OT and PTO reports for Finance.
• Compile turnover analysis reports for WMN Leadership.
• Maintain employee and company files according to internal retention policies and all legal compliance requirements.
• Communicate company policies, procedures, and benefit information to employees including the maintenance of all legal posting requirements.
• Support the WMG Talent Team with all related activities regarding Performance Planning (AMP), HIPO Identification & Development, Mix & Master Learning Events.
• Handle all travel arrangements for the SVP of Talent, and processes monthly expense reports.
• Identify new opportunities for organizational Learning & Development; makes recommendations.
• Handle and safeguard confidential and proprietary information.
Here you’ll be:
• Responsible for employee on-boarding, including processing all new hire paperwork, hosting orientations, and ensuring all information is correct in Company systems.
• Responsible for employee exiting, including processing all termination information in Company system and setting up exit interviews.
• The point of contact for local intern program, including onboarding, exiting and coordination of Learning Events.
• The point of contact for many employee inquiries and properly directs concerns to appropriate parties to coordinate fast and effective resolutions.
Rockstar candidates:
• Have strong communication skills (written & verbal), they know how to effectively communicate internally and/or externally in a manner consistent with a company’s Code of Conduct and core values.
• Have excellent time management skills. They will come to work on time without restriction.
• Read and understand materials and documents and have the ability to recognize and extract critical data and information.
• Maintain a working knowledge of applicable Federal and State labor laws.
• Can lift 15 pounds on a semi-regular basis and perform other diverse physical tasks as needed.
• Are able to work at and utilize all necessary functions of a computer in order to complete all the essential duties and responsibilities of the position.
• Have strong organization skills.
• Are able to adhere to deadlines.
• Have a consistent high-level of emotional intelligence and professionalism.
• Are excellent at follow-through and follow-up.
• Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Have strong interpersonal skills & are customer service oriented.
• Are resourceful & detail oriented.
• Have a High School Diploma.
• Have at least one (1) year experience providing administrative support to a department or executive and/or maintaining a front desk to have included providing customer service, answering phones, distributing correspondence, maintaining company files, gate-keeping, scheduling meetings and travel, and completing related reports.
• Handle time-sensitive and confidential information with the upmost professionalism.
It would be music to our ears if you also had:
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Working knowledge of Visio.
• Education, training and experience in related fields and/or educational disciplines.
