Job Description
Ubisoft, a global leader in the video games and entertainment software industry, is currently seeking a Digital Account Manager, Console for its Digital Publishing department. This individual will report to the Director, Digital Sales, and will be responsible for managing the business activities of first party digital retail accounts, developing relationships with the strategic and operational areas of his/her accounts, creating sales plans and business reviews. He/She will be a highly-organized, creative and strategic planner and will collaborate closely with Ubisoft partners and internal Marketing teams to maximize sales of new and existing downloadable content.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Grow sales of Ubisoft’s downloadable console content to exceed annual revenue goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with first party partners’ strategic and operational teams, establishing transparent and timely communication.
• Devise and maintain annual and quarterly objectives for accounts.
• Manage and communicate Ubisoft’s content priorities to partners.
• Create and deliver compelling digital product presentations and SKU plans to accounts.
• Provide information internally and to accounts in a timely and well-structured manner to ensure successful execution of pre-launch, launch, and post-launch strategies. Initiate planning and drive implementation of such strategies.
• Negotiate maximum merchandising support for Ubisoft’s content including product launches, betas, promotions, and consumer engagement efforts.
• Develop and present business reviews for accounts, analyze data and trends, assess results vs objectives, identify opportunities and propose solutions to business challenges.
• Host monthly face to face meetings and weekly conference calls with internal and account stakeholders.
• Evangelize digital console best practices and 1st party policies to internal teams.
• Conduct regular analysis of digital console market, competition and consumer trends.
• Attend relevant industry tradeshows.
Qualifications
• Must have 8+ years of experience in digital/retail sales or retail marketing
• Have well-developed interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Willing to be a driven self-starter who is able to work autonomously within a highly dynamic environment
• Be consultative, influential, facilitative and collaborative
• Skilled in driving cross-functional team projects
• Able to balance and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
• Be well-organized with excellent attention to detail
• Possess strong negotiation skills
• Demonstrate effective and professional presentation and communication skills
• Have a strong affinity for the game industry and its products
• BA/BS Degree, Graduate Degree a plus
• Travel required
