ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
AsVP, SSP Service Operations, you will be responsible for leading, guiding and managing the Global SSP Technical specialists team based Paris and to be built in NY within the Markets Business Unit.
The position will be responsible for growing the team that historically operated from Paris in the US so they can work efficiently together and provide a global technical expertise across Markets, Platform and International BUs.
This role will also be a key strategic partner for management to discuss SSP technical escalation, SSP technical strategies, objectives, and obstacles, to identify up-selling and growth opportunities and be part of cross teams projects and rules aligned with company profitability and targets.
You will closely work with Markets teams : Publisher Sales, Sales Engineers and Account Management, SSP Services, Monitoring & Optimization team, Product (based in Paris), Client Services teams (based in NY and Paris) and with Engineering team (based in Montpellier).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Technical Programmatic SSP expertise :
• Ensure the technical escalation point for advanced setups and issue resolution thru tickets (Zendesk) for SSP topics with internal or partners stakeholders
• Build an excellent understanding of the technology, backend systems, tracking capabilities, supply ecosystem and infrastructure
• Understand and articulate how the platform works alongside and integrates with the other products in order to provide meaningful recommendations
• Build a strong understanding of the clients business needs and ensure that the relevant solutions are provided
• Work as part of the team on the 24/7 support workflow including on call rotation.
• Set up advanced, critical or new features for clients
• Follow up new projects technical for SSP topics : from new feature request towards our Product team to the implementation and eventually scale across US, EU and APAC Client Services teams
• Enhance internal communication around tech issues and help tech/engineering team in focusing on business priorities
• Train Markets Client Services teams: checklists, knowledge bases, FAQs, best technical practices, daily education in tickets or emails or channels, in person training
Leadership
• Manage and lead embedded team resources in New York and Paris with the help of the Director and EU team in place in Paris
• Attract, develop, mentor, coach, and retain talents
• Create a clear vision and specific measurable goals for team members and provide regular reporting and alerts towards his management
• Streamline and establish internal & external processes in order to create an atmosphere of efficiency and collaboration between NY and Paris SSP Service Ops teams and other departments
• Ensure strong partnership and collaborative working relationship with other leaders within the team : DSP Service Ops, BI & Optimizations teams and in the BU : Product, Engineering, Publisher Sales
ABOUT YOU:
• Experience: 10-15 years in online advertising
• Multicultural management skills
• Strong Knowledge of Video tech specificities with direct experience within a SSP or AdNetwork ideally with a background in trafficking or operations
• Effective organizational abilities, project management
• Demonstrated problem analysis and resolution skills.
• Very good communication skills, pedagogy and ability to interact smoothly with business and tech people, worldwide based teams
• Eagerness to work in a rapidly changing team environment
• Curious and fast learner
