Description
We’re looking for a creative thinker and strong relationship manager to identify, develop and maintain partnerships with the goal of strengthening the Autodesk Brand. The person who fills this role will represent Autodesk while working closely with institutions, organizations and conferences worldwide to evaluate and execute mutually beneficial reputation-building programs. The role also encompasses the development and implementation of marketing plans for key technology alliances at the company.
The role:
You’ll facilitate the building and maintenance of partnerships between Autodesk and key brand-building entities globally. This involves collaborating internally with marketing, sales, and product teams to develop partnerships with strategic design and technology organizations and institutions. You will create and execute plans that target new and emerging audiences to tell the Autodesk Future of Making Things story as well as marketing plans for key technology alliances.
Reporting to Autodesk’s Senior Manager of Brand Partnerships and Alliances, you will build and maintain relationships and represent Autodesk in our dealings with a brand partner’s organization. The role also involves negotiating marketing agreements and management of the overall interactions between Autodesk and partners. This role will also support Autodesk strategic technology alliances by devising and executing its marketing component.
How you’ll spend your days:
• Building collaborative internal and external relationships with an ambassadorial mindset
• Creating and executing partnership plans with short and long term outcomes, including scheduling, budgeting and socializing internally
• Overseeing all aspects of relationships with brand partners including:
◦ Coordinating execution of cross-industry and cross-functional efforts including product and industry marketing, Autodesk Research and sales
◦ Establishing metrics and goals for partnerships and analyzing for future program optimization
• Designing and managing marketing strategy for technology Alliance partners.

What you’ll need to bring:
• 5+ years’ experience in partner management or similar roles
• Track record of cross-functional influence, relationship building, and project management skills
• Strong business acumen and negotiation abilities
• Excellent problem solving with an entrepreneurial outlook
• Outstanding teamwork and ability to lead informal teams
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills and proven ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
• Diplomatic mindset with proven conflict-resolution skills, high level of confidence and maturity with solid experience working across large corporations in a matrixed environment
• Proven ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
• Exceptional talent at juggling multiple projects concurrently, prioritizing partnerships and gracefully saying no
Bonus points:
• Strong curiosity particularly in the fields of augmented reality, virtual reality, machine learning, robotics, and/or IoT
• Experience in design and/or technology industries
• Program management expertise
