Job Summary:
The Regional Account Executive based in Miami / South Florida working from our newly opened Miami office location, identifies and develops new business opportunities within their defined territory/region, maintains and builds existing client relationships while closing business and meeting established sales goals.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
•Meet and exceed established sales quotas to maximize revenue in airport advertising programs.
•Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients within assigned portfolio of airports / regional territory.
•New business prospecting and development, including cold calling and scheduling face to face meetings.
•Delivers effective sales presentation and airport walk throughs.
•Work collaboratively with internal and external sales/operations team to ensure client satisfaction.
•In territory travel is a requirement, mainly by airplane, some by automobile, to meet with clients locally and internationally throughout the Caribbean and Latin American region.
•Occasional travel to Allentown, Pennsylvania office for training and relevant conferences.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
•Strong ability to work individually and as part of a team.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office and Social Networking platforms.
•Strong client relationship-building skills and customer service.
•Excellent communication skills required; verbal, written and presentation.
•Ability to plan and organize set priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
•Negotiation and closing proficiency.
•Independent, self-motivated, competitive, and assertive.
•Willingness to assist in training of new employees.
•Willingness to contribute in areas outside of job scope.
•Must possess a valid drivers’ license with safe driving record.
•Must possess a valid passport.
•Bilingual in English and Spanish, Verbal and Written.
WORK EXPERIENCE
•5+ years sales experience, advertising sales is preferred, but not required.
•Sales Experience in the Caribbean and/or Latin America is preferred but not required.
EDUCATION
•High school diploma, college degree preferred.
Other Requirements
•Able to travel outside of the office at least 50% of the time for meetings and industry events.
