Job Summary:
Responsible for the execution of assigned internal and external promotion and events. Oversees event logistics, including working with vendors, venue set up and design, and technical services. Has in-depth marketing experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Responsible for competitive intelligence gathering process, conducting market research and working with manager to educate sales teams and to provide senior leadership information for strategic planning.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Participates in strategic plan development and building of alliances with industry partners, networks, etc. as needed to achieve product growth objectives.
• Oversees the collection and analysis of relevant information concerning competitors and product differences.
• Influences sales channel incentives through competitive offer strategy. Consults with Marketing/Sales to identify growth strategy and incentive strategy to grow the business.
• Maintains and improves ongoing competitive marketing programs, analyses, and reports.
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Proven experience in developing and delivering/executing an end to end competitive marketing.
• Responsible for gathering, analyzing and distributing intelligence on products, market conditions, competitors and customers for business decision-making.
• Experience managing budgets and ensuring the department manages expenses and accruals per process set.
Core Responsibilities:
• Works independently and collaboratively with outside vendors on creative design elements, production, event promotions, and sponsorships.
• Assists in pre-campaign and post-campaign analysis and summary report.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Specification:
Education Level-Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
Years of Experience-Generally requires 2-5 years related experience
Additional Requirements:
• Spanish-speaking highly preferred
